А вот еще Светины фотографии, на сегодня последние: Stata Center, где располагается MIT Computer Science and Artificial Intelligence Lab. Автор проекта -- Фрэнк Оуэн Гери, которого я однажды назвал "абстрактным архитектором".

Из забавного:
половину бабок на это здание дал билгейц, соответственно, в его честь эта половина и названа. В этом же здании теперь офис Ричарда Столлмана. Мне рассказывали, что на /. над ним по этому поводу очень издевались.

''The first time he came in, he almost passed out," says his assistant, Bev Stohl, who has loaded the office with plants to minimize the effect.

Chomsky finds the space not very usable. ''It is hard to get a blackboard up," he says. Responds Brooks, the CSAIL director: ''He hates the US government, too. He hates this country. Have you ever read anything he has written?"
